Oyunlar and his girlfriend were enjoying some time out with friends and had a great time, but things soon took a turn for the worse when Oyunbarra suddenly fell victim to a car crash.
The accident occurred just days after Oyunbara was named to the 2018 Tour de France.
The 33-year-old, who had been riding for a team from the Netherlands, was in a crash near La Chapelle, near Paris, when the car he was in came to a rest.
A witness, who gave his name as Olivier, told Le Parisien that Oyunla fell from his bike and was thrown to the ground.
When he was on the ground, Oyun barreled down a side street, hitting two pedestrians before being struck by a truck.
The driver of the truck was later arrested, with the other passengers all reportedly taken to hospital.
The French cyclist’s body was found near La Chapeau, a residential area, on Monday.
The victim’s death has now sparked a massive investigation.
OyunBarra’s team has been told to check their safety measures before riding in France.
The Tour de Paris is one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events, and has become an important event for both the cycling world and the Tour de l’Ain.
